When the rain came, it was not due to subservient melancholy generated by any given number of histrionic manic-depressives the world over. Rain is more science than psychology, caused by moisture trapped in the atmosphere, gathering in clouds until the density becomes too great or too heavy or too something, and then all at once, the heavens open up and they cry until the pressure hiccups to a halt, and the drizzle meanders down to earth half-heartedly, without purpose or pretense .But sometimes when it came it was like a great battle between wind and water. The aqua waves coming up from their home on land to the foreign territory of the sky.
The rain was pouring like nothing else. It's drops falling in sheets, that felt of ice. Long and hard they fell the storm having gone on for hours, with no end in sight. The howling wind brought no comfort, Lighting flashed always followed close behind by it's partner. Booming in the crisp, wet air. Startling as a rumble before growing in a snarling beast .It was so interesting -- the rain .So full of emotion. So sad, yet happy, with hints of anger and frustration hidden in its depths.
Kate padded solemnly over the sidewalk of the streets that had been her home for the past few years. The hood of her jacket was pulled over her head in an attempt to close out not only the ear splitting thunder, but the rain as well. A small sigh escaped her lips as emerald hues glanced up at the dark cloud filled skies. "Another wonderful day."
Shaking a few drops of water off of her head she sped up her pace, her destination coming closer into view.P3. She had heard of the place from a few friends of hers and had wanted to check the place out. Stepping in she looked around, feeling slightly out of place.
